My family love to grill this cod. We add one of the great variety of Flav-r-pac veggie and we have quick and easy dinner that tastes good too
So my favorite Alison's Pantry Fish is the Icelandic Cod Fillets #8026. They are the best and most flavorful fish we have had. I love to serve them grilled, either on the grill or if it's cold outside then on the George Forman. They cook up quickly and are light and flaky. I cover them with AP Dilly Dip Mix #1421, lay them in a piece of foil with a tab of butter and grill to perfection. They are amazing and good, I can't eat just one.
You cannot beat the juicy flavor of the skinless cod. Great on the grill with a little lemon pepper, garlic and dilly dill! My husband and I usually eat a box per month even though we often split one, they are a good size!
This fish has a very good flavor and does not shrink up like store bought fish. Highly recommend!!
I am SO thankful that I decided to try this cod! I wanted a cod that was not breaded because I eat low carb for health reasons and the breading on my hubby’s favorite from AP (#8014) is too high in carbs for me because I can’t possibly eat just one fillet. So recently I bought myself a box of these skinless fillets and baked a WHOLE fillet for me along with his battered fillets. Oh my gosh, so thick, flavorful and flaky! One fillet was way too much and gave me dinner the next day as well. The next time I baked one my husband and I split the fillet and it was a perfect portion for us. I’ve found a tasty substitute for breading for this cod fillet too, not that it needs it. I’ve dipped it in milk then coated both sides with crushed sea salt & black pepper seasoned artisanal pork rinds. Amazing!!
My goodness these are so good! Finally a cod that's not breaded and I can easily roast it in the oven. My family loves it. It's juicy and the fillets are huge. Great quality!
These are amazing filets! They are thick and juicy and taste absolutely delicious! Bake them in the oven for a super healthy dinner! Large portions!!!
This cod tastes so good! Although I usually broil, it’s also great for making homemade fish sticks. I the only thing I dislike is the packaging that leaves my freezer smelling a little fishy.
These are great on the grill with a little light seasoning. We are trying to eat more fish, so we were happy to find this!
