We love this product. Good for so many things. Salads, soups, skewers, etc. These are some of the largest shrimp you can purchase, and I use a lot of them
I have been buying these shrimp for 3 years, nice size to grill or cook, then chill and serve as an appetizer with cocktail sauce since the tail is on. The shrimp are large, firm and very nice flavor. I also saute and sometimes put in a stirfry. So Good!
These shrimp are delicious. They are probably the largest shrimp I've ever had, and they are so flavorful and fresh. They are wonderful for shrimp scampi or for grilling. Their size makes them easy to skewer and throw on the grill. Great for a quick meal, or or to accompany a steak!!
My favorite would probably have to be the Contessa Black Tiger Shrimp. They are so big and full of flavor.. and the quality is AMAZING! I love them both grilled and baked as a shrimp scampi 😛 Either way, I always season them with Garlic Supreme!
Thawed.Tossed in a bowl with olive oil and Mrs. Dash, poked them on skewers and grilled for 8 -10 minutes on each side. Added to a plate with fresh garden sweet corn on the cob and crab cakes! delicious!
If I had to pick a favorite frozen AP product, these shrimp might have to be it. I have these in my freezer 24/7. They are so good for anything. I have used them for grilled shrimp kebobs, stir fry, shrimp tacos, and Shrimp scampi. These are a must have for me!
I am very particular about my shrimp. These are nice size and cook up plump and not mushy. Very good flavor.
Wrapped in bacon and grilled these yesterday. Yummo! I highly recommend!
We love everything about this shrimp - the size, the flavor, and the versatility. I highly recommend!
I've gotten these shrimp a couple of times now and my family simply love them. They have a very nice size and are super yummy. Definitely a favorite in our household.
They had a very strong fishy flavor. I know shrimp is fish but it tasted like a muddy river and not the fresh shrimp flavor I was expecting.
My family LOVED these shrimp! I put them in a pan of butter with lemon pepper and sautéed them. They were fast to cook and tasted so good! The size of them is great!
These are nice thick shrimp and we made them recently using the Chef Shamy Garlic Butter and sprinkled them with garlic salt while sautéing. Such a treat!
These shrimp are a must. They are HUGE compared to the shrimp I usually buy. We love them for shrimp alfredo or cut in pieces for shrimp tacos.
These are the best tasting meaty shrimps. Perfect for on the BBQ, we just love them.
Meaty and beautiful!
We like shrimp, we eat it often. I have heard nothing but rave reviews about these and we were quite disappointed. They were cooked to directions, we tried several times, but each time the shrimp was overly chewy and not great. We like our shrimp a bit more tender. Thank you for letting us know your feedback! We want to make this right for you, which would fall under our Double Money Back Guarantee. I have issued that credit to your customer account! - AP office
I typically buy frozen shrimp from a big box retailer, but these are FAR SUPERIOR in size and quality. Their size makes them versatile to use in all the ways described in other reviews. Our fave is to make shrimp linguini by combining angel hair pasta, #5408 AP Garlic & Herb Seasoning, and 2 TBSP butter to cook in boiling water. Then the shrimp can be quickly sautéed in a separate pan - or to cook as we do in a butter-based sauce coupled with more Garlic & Herb Seasoning in our Ninja Speedi, 5 min, 400 F, turning once. We place the flavorful pasta on our plates, add the shrimp and all of its buttery sauce, then sprinkle on some shredded Parmesan cheese. This tastes the same as shrimp linguini from a prominent seafood restaurant chain. As always, I do a price comparison for any AP product. Because of the size and quality of these shrimp, we can serve them at least 50-60% cheaper than a restaurant at exactly the same high level of flavor profile. They now are a constant staple in our freezer. Thanks, AP!
