Cooking Directions:
- Add 5 Tbsp spaghetti seasoning to 1 (6 oz) can of tomato paste, 2-1/4 cup water, 1 Tbsp butter or oil.
- Cover and simmer sauce 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve over pasta.

Shelf Life: Over time, spices will lose their potency and not flavor your food as intended. As a general rule, whole spices will stay fresh for about 4 years, ground spices for about 3 to 4 years and dried leafy herbs for 1 to 3 years. Store spices in a cool, dark cupboard, away from direct heat or sunlight; keep tightly closed when not in use.

My house was very divided on this sauce. My spaghetti lovers did not care for it while my reluctant spaghetti eaters thought it was one of the best sauces they'd ever tasted. It does have s a great Italian flavor, but it creates a very thick sauce. It reminded me more of a sloppy joe seasoning than of a spaghetti sauce. It caused quite the debate at our supper table but has been requested for future meals.
This is so handy to have on hand and tastes just like homemade, with half the work (and probably half the ingredients). I like to use quick, easy options when cooking and this definitely is helping me with quick and easy, but also great taste!
