1. Thoroughly blend 2 oz (1/3 cup + 1 TBSP) mix with 3 cups water.
2. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
3. Reduce to a low simmer for 3 min.

Shelf Life: Over time, spices will lose their potency and not flavor your food as intended. As a general rule, whole spices will stay fresh for about 4 years, ground spices for about 3 to 4 years and dried leafy herbs for 1 to 3 years. Store spices in a cool, dark cupboard, away from direct heat or sunlight; keep tightly closed when not in use.

Put it in your main dish recipes for added flavor. I really like the AP Mushroom Soup and Stroganoff Mix (#1672) and its companion mix, AP Onion Soup and Dip Mix (#1025). I always have both of them on my pantry shelf.
My daughter is gluten free and we love this soup/stroganoff mix. I use it in place of cream of mushroom soup in casseroles; anything you would use mushroom soup for. I just use about 1 tablespoon of cornstarch to thicken it. The taste is rich and creamy. Such a versatile product. I also love to throw about 1/4 cup in with potatoes, carrots, and roast in the crock pot. Delicious!
I love the mushroom soup mix, I use it like the directions say and then add sour cream and use it for Stroganoff ! Yummy and oh so easy.

Love the flavor of this mix. I use it by slicing up steak and saute it then make a cream sauce with this mix and pour over egg noodles.....makes my mouth water just thinking about it!
This Mushroom Soup & Stroganoff Mix made my dinner prep so easy! We brown ground meat, add the mix and water and dinner is done quicker than one of those box helper meals! I served over egg noodles and a side of green peas. It was so delicious that everyone wanted seconds! We will get several meals out of one bag and I appreciate that with having a large family.
THIS is so great to have on hand when you're out of canned soup. Used it for Hawaiian Haystack gravy tonight and it was a yummy new find!
Add browned ground beef and serve over pasta, rice, or potatoes. YUMMY!
This mix can be used in so many different ways. Gravy, in place of canned cream of mushroom soup, stroganoff and just add to a roast in the crock pot. Love, love love!
